When building bridges, we don't need conversions, just conversations!

Christians and Jews and Hebrew Roots and Messianics and the curious... hey everyone: "When building bridges, we don't need conversions, just conversations!"

Let's not fall into the trap of thinking the worst and accusing the other. Let's just listen. We are smart enough not to be fooled by mistakes and probably humble enough to learn something new from everyone.

So, let's not freak out, feel betrayed, become angry, and cancel the other in a fit of revenge (when we discover someone is different than what we hoped and trusted by our initial thoughts of them).

The Torah teaches "don’t take revenge on your brother or even bear a grudge" (Lev. 19:18). It also says, "Do not curse the innocent; for example, the deaf who may not hear your words (Lev. 19:14). Do not put a stumbling block in front of the blind (Lev. 19:14). Do not oppress people with your words (wronging someone with something they can’t help) (Lev. 25:17). Particularly, do not oppress a convert/proselyte with words (Ex. 22:20)."

Instead, just listen. Both sides will benefit from a strong bridge!
